Protestors who took part in a protest march held today (02) in Colombo, voiced their protest against several politicians who had joined the event.
Protestors voiced their displeasure against a group of politicians including opposition leader – Sajith Premadasa, and SLFP General Secretary – Dayasiri Jayasekera were hooted at and were seen eventually leaving the site.
The protest march by multiple groups including political parties, mass organizations, and trade unions commenced from opposite the Elphinstone Theatre in Maradana but was stopped by police officers close to the Maradana Railway Station.
