Public urged not to join ‘Siri Dalada Vandanawa’ in next 02 days
Police have requested the public to refrain from attending the ‘Siri Dalada Vandanawa’ special exposition in Kandy during the next two days (April 24 and 25).
Noting that over 300,000 devotees are already in queues, the police say that if crowds continue to exceed in the next 02 days,, new devotees will not receive an opportunity to worship the sacred tooth relic.
The ‘Siri Dalada Vandanawa’, which commenced on 18 April, will continue until 27 April.
