A scientific analysis conducted over the supply of drugs in Sri Lanka has shown that the amount of medicinal drugs currently being purchased can be reduced by 1/3, Colombo District MP Patali Champika Ranawaka said in Parliament yesterday (29).
MP Ranawaka also said that KPMG has conducted a special analysis in 2020 regarding large-scale frauds in the procurement of medicines.
The MP mentioned this while speaking during the debate on the third reading of the Budget.
He also asked the government to use the hard-earned US Dollars to save people’s lives.
