Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi, held discussions with Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism, Vijitha Herath, during his visit to Colombo.
The Qatari official also met with Deputy Minister Arun Hemachandra on Friday.
The meetings focused on enhancing bilateral relations, exploring avenues for cooperation, and addressing topics of mutual interest.
Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath expressed optimism about the discussions, stating on ‘X’, “We had a productive discussion focused on enhancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Looking forward to strengthening our ties!”
