National People’s Power (NPP) leader – Anura Kumara Dissanayake severely criticized Tourism Board officials receiving the Indian singers who arrived in Sri Lanka to perform at the UNP May Day musical extravaganza.
Questioning whether the UNP May Day rally was an event of the Tourism Board, Mr. Dissanayake said, President Ranil will have to bring down voters from India just like he brought down the singers from India.
The NPP leader was speaking thus at the May Day rally held in Matara today.
The prevailing situation is due to the lack of discipline and organisational strength, he pointed out.
He pledged that this was the last May Day being marked under corrupt, criminals and rulers who drove the country to its knees and bankruptcy.
