The final rites of veteran Sri Lankan politician – Rukman Senanayake, will be held at 4.00pm today (Aug. 26) at the Borella Public cemetery.
Senanayake, who is the former grandson of the nation’s first Prime Minister, D. S. Senanayake passed away on Saturday (Aug. 24) aged 76.
His remains currently lie at a private funeral parlor in Borella.
Senanayake, who first entered parliament in 1973, was also former Cabinet Minister and a former Chairman of the United National Party,
