A musical extravaganza planned in Sri Lanka as part of an international musical show series featuring prominent Indian artistes, has kicked off the rumour mill.
According to rumours mentioned among ministers in ‘hush hush’, the companies involved in the organization of the event in Sri Lanka are indirectly owned by a Cabinet Minister.
It is also said that several persons in the local industry had also attempted to seek an audience with President Ranil Wickremesinghe in this regard.
On a Facebook post, Minister of Tourism – Harin Fernando yesterday (Nov.23) stated that a discussion was held over holding this musical event, which is to be held in Sri Lanka, Canada and Malaysia.
He also says that over 2,000 foreign tourists are also expected to join the audience of the show.
