S.M. booed at by villagers
Former Minister – S.M. Chandrasena and former Chief Minister S.M. Ranjith Samarakoon had been booed at by villagers during a discussion held in the Kon Wewa area in Tambuttegama for a discussion on distributing water filters.
Authorities had gathered the group saying it was for a discussion to install a water treatment unit done by the Navy.
When the former minister had risen to address the gathering, he had been greeted by boos by the villagers.
