A man has been hospitalized after a vehicle belonging to state minister Sanath Nishantha crashed into him while he was riding his bicycle in the Puttalam area yesterday (15), police said.
MP Sanath Nishantha had been present in the vehicle when the driver crashed into the cyclist severely injuring him.
Police said the cyclist was hospitalised.
Police have said the driver of the MP will be arrested and investigations are ongoing.
