Another gazette has been issued by President Ranil Wickremesinghe revising the scopes of several ministries effective from today (27).
According to the gazette, the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission and its affiliated institutions, which were under the Ministry of Defence, have been placed under the Ministry of Technology.
The Center of Excellence for Robotic Applications (CERA), which was under the Ministry of Industry, has been placed under the Ministry of Technology.
Meanwhile, the Department of the Registrar of Companies which was under the Ministry of Finance and Economic Stabilisation and Lanka Phosphate Company which was under the Ministry of Agriculture have been placed under the Ministry of Industry.
