The bail application submitted by former Senior DIG Ravi Seneviratne who had been on remand for driving under the influence of liquor and causing damage to two other vehicles was rejected by Mount Lavinia Additional Magistrate Sanjaya L.M. Wijesinghe.

He submitted the bail application through a special motion.
