The second reading of the 2025 Budget Proposal, or Appropriation Bill, will be presented in Parliament on February 17, as announced by Parliament Secretary General Kushani Rohanadheera following a Steering Committee meeting on Parliamentary Affairs.
The budget debate is set to span 21 days, beginning on February 18 and concluding on March 21.
The first reading of the Appropriation Bill is scheduled for January 9.
