The Police has said that the section of Marine Drive near the Bambalapitiya railway station will be temporarily closed from today (06) until further notice due to the destruction work of the passenger flyover.
Vehicles traveling from Wellawatte to Colpetty along Marine Drive can proceed towards Galle Road via the Bambalapitiya Station Road.
Vehicles traveling from Colpetty to Wellawatte using Marine Drive can turn at Glen Arbor Place, enter Galle Road, and then continue along the Duplication Road to Wellawatte.
Police added that vehicular movement along both lanes on the rest of Marine Drive will remain normal.
