A ship carrying 60,000 metric tons of coal is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka this afternoon (25), Lanka Coal Company (Private) Limited said.
Its General Manager Namal Hewage said the unloading operations will commence from tomorrow (26).
Mr. Hewage further said that this stock of coal has been imported from the company with which an agreement was made earlier, and five more ships carrying coal are scheduled to arrive in the country in the future.
