A man was shot and injured early today (March 31) in Koggalla, Ambalantota, by two gunmen on a motorcycle.
The injured 30-year-old resident of Koggalla is receiving treatment at Hambantota Hospital.
Investigations have revealed that a prolonged personal dispute had led to the shooting, which was done using a locally manufactured firearm.
The suspects have been identified and Ambalantota Police are conducting further investigations to arrest them.
