Sri Lanka Police report that six people have been killed and five injured in eight shootings recorded since the beginning of the year.
Among the deceased, four are suspected to be organized criminals, according to the Police Spokesperson’s Office.
The latest incident occurred yesterday in Galaha, claiming the life of a 24-year-old. Investigations into the shootings are ongoing.
