As some news websites reported that Samagi Jana Balawegaya ( SJB) and Jathika Jana Balawegaya ( JJB) will get on one stage to protest against the possible postponement of the local government polls, SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara denied such reports.

Some news websites reported that the two parties had decided to get onto a common platform to fight against the postponement of local government polls. It was also reported that Maddduma Bandara had a phone conversation with JJB Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake and that it had been agreed that the two parties will protest and will have a common rally.

” I never had any conversation with Anura Kumara Dissanayake and neither have we got into any agreement,” Maddduma Bandara told Daily Mirror.
