Leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and Opposition Leader – Sajith Premadasa has stated that his party will support the motion submitted by government MPs to remove suspended IGP – Deshabandu Tennakoon.
Speaking at a function today (March 25), Premadasa charged that Tennakoon was appointed as IGP violating the Constitution and that the SJB had strongly opposed the appointment previously as well.
He also blamed the former President and the former for appointing Tennakoon to the position of IGP.
