Sri Lanka Muslim Congress member – Attorney-At-Law Ariff Samsudeen has resigned from the party as a high command member and the leader of the youth congress.
Mr. Samsudenn, who was a SLMC member for nearly a decade, is also a former member of the Eastern Provincial Council.
In a statement to media, he has also announced his decision to back the presidential candidate of the National People’s Power (NPP) – Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the upcoming Presidential Election.
