The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has placed deposits at the Galle District Elections Office this morning (Sep. 06) to contest the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha elections.
SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam and several others participated in the occasion.
Former chairman Nalin Priyadarshana and four former members of the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha are included in the list of candidates contesting the elections.
