SLTB bus goes down precipice injuring 18!
Eighteen people were injured when a SLTB bus plying from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya skidded off the road and went down a precipice at around 4.30 am today (1) near the Watawala Sinhala College on the Colombo – Hatton Road.
The bus skidded off the road when the driver was trying to give way to a bus coming from the opposite direction.
About 18 people who were injured in the accident were admitted to the Watawala Hospital, and five of them were transferred to the Nawalapitiya District General Hospital.
The Ada Derana reporter said that around 100 people were travelling in the bus when the accident occurred.
