Speaker of Parliament – Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana endorsed the certificate on the two Bills Inland Revenue (Amendment) Bill and Social Security Contribution Levy (Amendment) Bill today (08).
Accordingly, the two Bills the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act No. 14 of 2023 and the Social Security Contribution Levy (Amendment) Act No. 15 of 2023 will come to effect from today (08).
The said Bills were passed in Parliament yesterday (07) after being taken up for debate in Parliament since Sep. 06.
