Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana announced to the Parliament today (Aug. 09) that in terms of the provisions of Article 79 of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, he has endorsed the certificate on the Bill titled “Public Financial Management” on Aug. 08, 2024.
The said Bill was presented to Parliament on May 22, 2024, and it was passed with amendments on July 25th.
