Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha said in Parliament today (20) that a special statement about the GCE Advanced Level examination will be made tomorrow.
In response to questions asked by SJB MPs Hesha Withanage and Rohini Kumari Kaviratne, the minister further said that the Examinations Commissioner General will take necessary measures following his statement today.
The Commissioner General is expected to provide information whether this year’s Advanced Level Examinations will be postponed, the minister earlier said.
He said this in response to a proposal made by MP Kaviratne, who suggested postponing the A/L examinations to January next year.
