A Sri Lankan youth who was receiving medical treatment in a critical condition following a car accident in Istanbul, Türkiye on August 9 has succumbed to injuries.
About eight Sri Lankans sustained minor injuries.
The accident occurred when a bus carrying a group of Sri Lankans who were working on the construction of an airport in Istanbul fell down a 50-foot precipice. About 35 Sri Lankans were on board at the time of the accident.
