Railway station masters say they have decided to engage in a 24 hour token strike with effect from midnight today (May 09).
The Railway Station Masters’ Union (RSMU) said its token strike is in protest of the appointment of an official accused of corruption as the Deputy General Manager (Commercial) of Railways.
At the meeting of the union’s executive members today, it was decided to launch a token strike to urge the authorities to reverse the move at the earliest possible.
