‘Sumedha’ sighted after 03 months
A well known Tusker that had gone missing 03 months ago, has been sighted, reports say.
The Tusker – Sumedha, had gone missing after facing an accident in the Maradankadawala area in March 2025.
Mobile phone footage had recorded the Tusker roaming near the Padupola area in the Minneriya National Park.
According to reports, Sumedha appeared quite healthy despite losing a tusk in the accident.
