“SupremeSAT not owned by Rohitha Rajapaksa”

Published

SupremeSAT (Pvt) Ltd. has said that the business is not owned by Mr. Rohitha Rajapaksa and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Supreme Global Holdings.

In a release, the company says that Supreme Global Holdings “is also a local business which was born to do greater good for the country.”

“The project is not led by Mr. Rohitha Rajapakse.  This project was done as a private investment with globally renowned investors and Rohitha Rajapaksa was ‘employed’ in the capacity of ‘Chief Technical Director’ of the company.  But because he was the son of the then president, there was unnecessary publicity and false facts were spread in the social media,” it adds.

“We launched SupremeSAT, a subsidiary of our company. But the political culture and ignorant/hypocritical sections of this country tried to destroy a grand opportunity we created for the future generation of this country with narrow political goals and spread false propaganda over the past decade.”
