The screenplay of the movie ‘Aragalaye Wedimuraya alias Battleship Potemkin’ written by senior journalist and film critic Tissa Premasiri will be launched today (04) at 2.30 pm at the Russian Cultural Centre in Colombo.
This event is organised by the ‘Russian Literary Circle’ affiliated to the Russian Cultural Centre.
Professor Tudor Weerasingha of Sri Palee Campus, Colombo will deliver a lecture on the Soviet Russian cinema and Battleship Potemkin.
Aruna Gunaratne, former editor of the ‘Sarasaviya’ newspaper, will be doing a review of the screenplay.
