Trade Minister seeking to kill brother-in-law over egg dispute? (Video)
President of the All Ceylon Egg Trade Association – Anton Nishantha Appuhamy has said that Trade Minister Nalin Fernando is looking to kill him despite them being brothers-in-law.
He also alleged that Sri Lanka’s egg industry is on the verge of collapse due to the unwise decisions taken by the minister.
He made these allegations during an interview with ‘Truth with Chamuditha’ YouTube channel.
Mr. Appuhamy said that bird flu has already entered Sri Lanka through eggs imported from India, and that army soldiers have been fed with these eggs.
He further said that the price of an egg will go up to Rs.70 due to the short-sighted decisions of the minister.
