A train derailed near the Colombo Fort Railway Station this morning (May 01).
According to Sri Lanka Railways, the ‘Pulathisi’ Intercity Express Train, travelling from Batticaloa to Colombo Fort, had derailed near Platform 9 at Colombo Fort Railway Station.
Efforts are underway to get the train back on tracks.
