Train operations along two lines were affected this morning (Oct. 29).
Trains along the coastal line have been delayed due to a train breaking down at Payagala owing to a technical failure.
According to Sri Lanka Railways, the relevant train was being brought to Colombo Fort by using another train engine.
Meanwhile, trains along the Kelani Valley line were also affected after an office train faced a technical issue near the Dematagoda station.
