Train services on the upcountry line between Talawakele and Watagoda have been restored after the derailment of an express train yesterday (June 13).
The control room said that the viewing compartment of the train was derailed at around 3.25 pm and the derailment was cleared at around 10 pm.
Accordingly, the Udarata Manike train left Badulla railway station for Colombo Fort at 5.55 am today (June 14).
