Two men were killed in a shooting that took place at Upper Talduwa, Gurupasgoda in Avissawella last night (20), police said.
Police said that four people who were travelling in a three-wheeler were shot at by two men who came on a motorcycle.
Two of the injured aged 27 and 36 died after being admitted to the Avissawella Hospital.
A T-56 type firearm has been used to carry out the shooting.
