Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs Jennifer R. Littlejohn will visit Colombo from August 19-21 as part of her South Asian tour, which also includes Chennai, New Delhi, and Malé.
In Colombo, Littlejohn will tour U.S.-supported wildlife protection projects and discuss opportunities for collaboration in hydrology and climate change.
Her agenda includes topics such as marine conservation, pollution, the climate crisis, deforestation, nature crimes, space activities, and promoting women and girls in STEM.
