Udaya Devi train hits bull, halted for 4 hours

The Udaya Devi express train, which was plying from Batticaloa to Colombo at around 12.30 am, was halted at the Maho Railway Station for over three hours due to a technical fault that occurred after hitting a bull at the Galoya Station.

After repairing the technical fault, the train returned to Colombo at around 4.00 am.

The passengers travelling from Batticaloa to Colombo had to face grave inconvenience due to the delay.
