The UK Trade Envoy for Sri Lanka Lord Davies of Abersoch arrived in the country yesterday (09) on a three-day official visit, the British High Commission said.
During the visit, he is scheduled to hold discussions with many business and government entities on expanding trade opportunities in the country.
The British High Commission said the purpose of his visit is to achieve mutual growth of economic partnership between the two countries and to improve trade and investment promotion.
In 2020, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson appointed Lord David as his trade envoy to Sri Lanka.
