UN Resident Coordinator meets Minister Tiran
United Nations Resident Coordinator in Sri Lanka – Mr. Marc-André Franche had met with Minister of Public Security – Mr. Tiran Alles today (01).
Tweeting, Mr. Franche had said they discussed the importance of broad consultations for crucial laws such as Online Safety Bill.
Sustainable development and a strong economy for 21st century as envisioned by Sri Lanka also needs thriving civic space & open internet and the UN in Sri Lanka is ready to support, he has added.
