The 78th anniversary of the United National Party (UNP) will be held at Party headquarters – Sirikotha at 9 a.m. today.
The anniversary celebration will take place under the patronage of UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene and other officials. The party was founded by former Prime Minister D. S. Senanayake on September 6, 1946.
