According to reports, a group of United National Party (UNP) stalwarts headed by President Ranil Wickremesinghe will hold a discussion at the party HQ – Sirikotha today (27) over the upcoming General Election.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the program of the UNP will be rolled out from January 2024 under new party officials.
The new party officials are said to be a decisive factor in the current backdrop and will also hold a grave responsibility at the General Election.
Last week, the President announced that the Presidential Election and the General Election will be held next year.
