Sanjaya Mahawatta, President of ‘Ape Rata’ organisation, filed a complaint with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday (20) asking to investigate a statement which said that local liquor contains urea.
The statement was made by Civil Aragalaya Movement President Darshan Tantrige through a YouTube channel.
Mahawatta said that the Excise Department should immediately investigate this matter.
He also said that legal action should be taken against Tantrige immediately if he has made a false statement.
