The 20-member US delegation team who arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (14), has departed from the island today afternoon.
They have left the island in two C – 17A aircraft of the US Air Force.
According to a highly placed police officer, radio cars and a lorry was loaded into these aircraft 03 hours before the delegation’s departure and the vehicles had been brought to the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) under heavy security.
The delegation had also arrived at the airport in a heavily guarded vehicle convoy.
