The Director of Paththanduwana Bikshu Ayathana in Minuwangoda and former advisor to the Ministry of Education, Ven. Nadagamuwa Vijaya Maithri Thera of Sri Lanka Ramanna Maha Nikaya passed away early this morning (24).
The prelate, who was 73 at the time of his demise, was also the Deputy Registrar General of Sri Lanka Ramanna Maha Nikaya.
Popular Dhamma speaker Vijaya Maithri Thera is known for contributing immensely to promote Ramanna Maha Nikaya by conducting Dhamma sermons in foreign countries.
