The vote on the Inland Revenue Bill and the Social Security Contribution Levy Bill is scheduled to be held today (07) at 7:00 pm.
The Inland Revenue Bill was debated in Parliament yesterday (06).
A heated situation also arose in Parliament due to Opposition MPs protesting the decision to debate the Bill prior to discussing it at the Committee on Public Enterprises.
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said that they will not support the Bill.
