Convener of the Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF), Wasantha Mudalige has been further remanded.
The order was issued by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court this afternoon (13).
Mudalige was accordingly remanded till the 17th of January 2023.
Mudalige who has been detained under the Prevention of Terrorism Act, was produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court yesterday and remanded till today until court received the opinion of the Attorney General on future proceedings.
Accordingly, when produced before Court today Mudalige was remanded till the 17th of January next year.
