Water plant donated by India, inaugurated at Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Pics)
A water treatment plant gifted by India was inaugurated at the base of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress today (Aug. 21) by Indian High Commissioner – Santosh Jha.
The plant will cater to the thousands of tourists visiting the fortress daily.
According to the high commission, expenditure towards maintenance of the plant for the next 05 years will also be borne by India.
