The present rainy weather conditions across the island are most likely to intensify today (Nov. 22), the Department of Meteorology said.
Most provinces of the island will see showers or thundershowers after 1:00 pm today with heavy rainfall of about 100mm is expected in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western, North-western, North-central, and Uva Provinces.
A few showers are possible in Northern and Eastern Provinces during morning hours while showers or thundershowers will occur in several sea areas around the island, the department adds.
