Presidential hopeful – Sajith Premadasa said that measures would be taken to provide a monthly sum of Rs. 20,000 for poor families in a bid to counter poverty.
Speaking at a rally in Seruwila, he said that a programme would be formulated using the plus factors of the ‘Janasawiya’ and ‘Aswesuma’ programmes.
