The opening was held yesterday (21).

The new editing room is now equipped with cutting edge technology.

Justice Damith Thotawatte - the son of the legendary Titus Thotawatte, Chairman of the National Film Corporation - Jayantha Dharmadasa, its Directors and  host of distinguished figures attended the event.

The revamping is done in line with the local film industry completing 74 years and 49 years elapsing since the establishment of the National Film Corporation.
