Final Randoli procession of Esala Perahara held (Pics)
The final Randoli procession of the annual Esala Perahara took place at the historic city of Kandy yesterday night (Aug. 19).
President Ranil Wickremesingh had joined the thousands of spectators to witness this significant event.
The revered relic casket was borne by the ceremonial tusker, Indiraja, who were flanked by tuskers Kotteraja and Myanraja.
Lit by copra torches, the perahera showcased a host of rich culture by artists young and old.
